About Me

California-raised, Internationally grown.

I was born and raised on the pristine coastline of Santa Barbara, California, often lovingly titled, “the American Riviera.” My passion for the performing arts stems from a young age, and throughout my childhood and young adult life I participated as both a performer and an organizer. In college I delved into a whole new world of acting technique, learning an array of successful tools which would hone my craft, but also discovering a whole world of artisans and professions behind the onstage process. I also discovered a new passion for language and culture, bringing me abroad to Italy in 2015 where I fell in love and haven’t turned back since. I ended up graduating with a double degree: A Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in Italian language and culture.

After getting a taste of producing by starting my own non-profit theatre company, I decided to go back to school for a masters in Performing Arts Management at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy.  There I was exposed first-hand to the incredible mechanisms involved with theatre productions, from a small professional company putting up an experimental piece in a black-box space, to a large-scale, hundred person plus productions— to me, all of it was magic.

Fast forward five years, a masters degree, some language snafus and worldwide pandemic later, and I’ve been fortunate enough to work with incredible institutions such as Teatro Alla Scala, Piccolo Teatro di Milano, and the World Fringe Festival Network.  I’m grateful that every day I get to contribute to a system which creates theatrical art onstage.
