A Bachelor of Arts in Italian Language and Culture and four cumulative years living in Milan, Italy has given me a complete, nuanced perception of the Italian language.
However, as a native English speaker living abroad I’m also astounded by the number of sub-par translations printed on menus, signs, official plaques, subway stations… the list continues. My goal when translating is not only to accurately convert the text from Italian to English, but to create a complete, rich piece which clearly communicates your ideas from the voice of a native speaker.
